Founder and President

C. Ross van Horn is a consultant, coach and trainer based in Nairobi, Kenya. His core expertise includes management and leadership development, negotiations consulting and training, strategic conversations, executive coaching, change management, group facilitation and team alignment.

Ross has consulted, coached and trained in a wide variety of industries globally. A sample of his assignments include management consulting for a telecommunications company in Nigeria, customized coaching for a chemicals company in Saudi Arabia, HR strategy consulting for a UN agency, and coaching executives for high performance in Kenya.

Mr. van Horn has been an associate and lead consultant in several consulting firms. He is the owner of van Horn Consulting, based in Nairobi, Kenya. His work over the past ten years has enabled him to lead and contribute to assignments requiring versatility in coaching and consulting applications with numerous cross-cultural teams and in unique settings. Ross is best known for the individualized attention and customization he provides to each client. Every consulting and coaching engagement is tailored to suit the specific needs and objectives of the situation.

Mr. van Horn brings training courses to life by engaging participants in dialogue and proactive learning. Ross holds an MA in International Policy from the Monterey Institute of International Studies, where he specialized in international negotiations. He is also certified and/or trained in a range of strategy and organisational applications, including Scenario Development (Global Business Network), Appreciative Inquiry (Case Western Reserve University), International Mediation (Law Faculty of Erasmus University), Executive Coaching (Gestalt International Study Center) and a variety of psychometric self-assessment tools. He is based in Nairobi, Kenya.
